Description

Hello,

When I tried to install LDS on my computer. I was no able to found the file nsswitch.conf, evoqued in the section 3, neither in the /usr/share/doc/lmc-agent neither in the subversion tree. So I can't test the LDS with the great web interface.

In other hand I have 2 remarks about the documentation 'Installation et configuration de la LMC sur Debian Sarge' V 1.1

The place to put the samba and lmc scheme is not very clear, I put them before the other ones, and I had some errors. When I put them after the other scheme it works better.

The other mistake, is at the first command line : [...] # apt-get update linbox:~/lmc# apt-get install lmc-agent Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait [...]

The prompt is different between the first and the second line, and after in the documentation the prompt is only a '#' not a 'linbox:~/lmc#'.

Good Job, lds seems to be very useful.

Hello,

you will find the nsswitch.conf file there: http://lds.linbox.org/svn/lmc-agent/trunk/contrib/ldap/nsswitch.conf

You can also find it as /usr/share/doc/python-lmc-base/contrib/ldap/nsswitch.conf in the python-lmc-base Debian package.

The order you include samba.schema and lmc.schema should not be a problem for OpenLdap?.

I will fix the documentation about the nsswitch.conf and apt-get command line.

Regards
