Description

Very useful for a directory with people from different countries. The corresponding LDAP field is called "preferredLanguage", and belong to the inetOrgPerson object class.

Some UI ideas:

  • this field is empty by default when adding a user ;
  • this field can be set using a drop down list ;
  • the drop down list contains the languages and the correponding country flags.
