VMware image

This image is based on Mandriva Corporate Server 4.
Beware that this image is a demo, and must not be used in a production environment.

Instructions

To use the VMware image, please download and install the VMWare Player. If you already are a VMware user, this image should run smoothly on VMWare Player, VMWare Workstation or VMWare Server.
The VMware image logs you in automatically in a KDE session. The first time you log in, a wizard is started to setup your KDE parameters. Then the FireFox? web browser is started and opens the MMC login page. Choose your language, click on « Connect », and you enter the MMC web interface.
The VMware image is configured with Ethernet bridging, so if you have a DHCP server the network configuration will be done automatically.
You can use the Mandriva Control Center to setup networking.
The system "root" password is "mandriva". The LDAP administrator password is "admin".
